I coach a girls track and field team, and I was wondering if you guys every use compression socks to help your team recover faster. I saw these socks at www.athleticrecoverysock.com. I had a few of the girls try them after a hard workout, and the girls seemed to think that they made their legs feel a lot better after practices. I think we may order enough pairs for the whole team.

I tried a pair after running, and I liked the results. I was wondering if anyone else out there has tried them? Any thoughts?

Compression garmets have been used successfully by collegiate teams and professional athletes.  Compression garmets have also been beneficial as a preventative measure and to protect body parts ie. hamstings, quads etc.  Our athletic trainer worked with may football coaches pro and collegiate and swears by them and the athletes seem to recover faster and do not seem to reinjure themselves.
